Tank Stars

Tank stars is basically a 2D turn based shooter where you try to blow up the other player is tank before they get you. You just load in, choose a weapon, aim, and shoot. Sounds simple but if you miss even one shot you are probably going to lose. You can play against people online or just mess around offline. Winning matches gives you coins to buy crazier guns and unlock better tanks.

How to play

You are stuck in this side scrolling map taking turns firing back and forth. Do not just sit in one spot. Driving left or right to change your position changes your shooting angle completely. A tiny adjustment can turn a total whiff into a direct hit. Plus you have to deal with hills and the wind blowing your missiles off course.

Controls

Move around: Use ad, the arrow keys, or just slide the left joystick on your screen.

Aim: Drag the right joystick around to find your angle.

Fire: Hit spacebar or tap the fire button.

Weapons

You get a massive pile of weapons and you can actually swap them out right before you take a shot. There are basic missiles but then you get ridiculous stuff like cluster bombs, acid, portals, and straight up nukes. Some are made for blasting people right in front of you, and others are for sniping across the whole map. Just play around with them to see what works.

The tanks

The first tank you get is pretty weak, but you unlock cooler ones as you go. You can grab them with gems or just save up regular coins. Here are the main ones:

• Blazer: The starter tank. Good enough to get you through the early levels.
• Frost tank: Honestly one of the best tanks in the game. It uses drones and ice to freeze enemies and slow them down.
• Atomic tank: Just pure destruction. Drops mini nukes and leaves radiation all over the place.
• Toxic tank: Shoots acid that melts away the enemy is health over time. Really annoying to deal with.
• Spectre: A high level tank. Takes a long time to get but it is worth saving for.

Upgrades

After a match, you get coins and chests. The chests give you upgrade cards for your weapons. When you get enough cards for a specific weapon, you can level it up so it hits way harder. Do not waste money upgrading every single tank you own. Pick one really good tank and put all your coins into maxing it out.

Tips

• Move after every shot so the enemy has to keep re aiming.
• Look at the wind meter at the top of the screen before you shoot.
• Get to high ground if you can, shooting down at someone is much easier.
• Try to get legendary chests because they have the best cards.
