Hill Climb

Hill Climb Racing Lite brings the massive hit 2D driving game straight to your web browser. Created by fingersoft, this lightweight version loads up fast and gets rid of the lag while keeping the exact same unpredictable physics that made the original mobile game so addicting. You control an ambitious driver named newton bill, and your only goal is to drive across rough terrain, collect coins, and try not to flip your car over.

How to Play

The game is entirely based on momentum and gravity. As you drive over massive hills and valleys, your vehicle will spend a lot of time airborne. While you are in the air, your gas and brake pedals act as balance controls holding the gas tilts the nose of your car up, while slamming the brake pulls it down. You have to land flat on your wheels to avoid crashing. Keep a constant eye on your fuel tank too, if you pass up a gas canister, your engine dies and the run ends on the spot.

The Controls

You do not have to worry about a steering wheel or a handbrake here. The setup uses just two simple inputs:

On Desktop (PC):

• D Key / Right Arrow: Hit the gas to accelerate forward or tilt the vehicle's nose upward when mid air.
• A Key / Left Arrow: Hit the brakes to slow down, reverse, or pitch the front of your car down during a jump.

On Mobile (Phones/Tablets):

• Right Side of Screen: Tap and hold to accelerate.
• Left Side of Screen: Tap and hold to brake.

Upgrades in the Garage

The basic starter jeep is pretty weak and will struggle on steep vertical cliffs. Luckily, the coins you grab off the dirt can be spent on four main components in the garage menu:

• Engine: Adds raw horsepower so you can crawl up nearly vertical hills without stalling.
• Suspension: Cushions your vehicle from massive jumps so you do not bounce uncontrollably when hitting the ground.
• Tires: Drastically increases your grip on slippery surfaces like ice, mud, or loose sand.
• 4WD System: Distributes power evenly to all wheels for better stability on unstable bridges.

Earning extra cash with stunts

If you want to unlock absurd vehicles like the Monster Truck, Motocross Bike, Tank, or Moon Lander faster, you need to show off. Staying airborne for long periods rewards you with Air Time bonuses. If you are feeling brave, you can attempt front flips or backflips mid air for massive coin payouts. Just make sure you land on your tires landing flat on Bill's head will break his neck and send you straight back to the starting line.

World Tour Mode

This update features the World Tour adventure, where you don't just drive endlessly. Instead, you face hand crafted levels with actual finish lines across classic stages like Countryside, Seasons, Moon, Super Countryside, and Neon. Plus, if you make a stupid mistake and crash, you can use the new Cartapult feature to launch yourself right back into the action without losing your current progress.
