Stupid Zombies

Stupid zombies is basically a simple puzzle shooter where the whole goal is to kill as many undead as you can with just one trigger pull. You are just standing in one spot with a shotgun, facing down lines of monsters who are literally just standing there like idiots. Instead of shooting them directly, you have to aim at the floors, ceilings, and steel walls to make your bullets bounce around and slice through multiple targets at once. It starts out incredibly easy but gets annoying fast when obstacles start blocking your line of sight.

How to play it

Every single level gives you a super strict ammo count. If you run out of shells before every last zombie on the screen is dead, you lose the match. You have to look at how the room is set up and find a path that hits 3 or 4 guys in a single bounce. If you clear the whole map with just one or two shots, you get a perfect 3 star score.

The controls

Aiming and firing: Just move your mouse around the screen to line up the dotted shot line. Click the left mouse button to shoot. On mobile phones, you just press down on the screen, drag your finger around to aim, and let go to fire.

Map hazards

You do not just rely on direct gunshots to get through the levels. Most stages have random stuff lying around that you can shoot to trigger massive chain reactions. Look out for things like:

• Gas tanks and barrels: Pop these with a ricochet bullet to blow up whole clusters of zombies standing nearby.
• Heavy bricks and crates: Shoot the wooden supports out from under them to watch them drop down and crush everything underneath.
• Airstrikes: Sometimes you can trigger a massive explosive drop to completely wipe out a crowded platform instantly.

Quick tips

• Do not rush your first shot. Check how the walls line up because the bullet always bounces off at the exact same angle it hits.
• Go for the environmental hazards first. Dropping a crate or blowing up a barrel usually clears out half the map for free.
• If you get stuck on a tough level, change your aim by just a tiny hair. A tiny adjustment changes where the bullet ends up bouncing entirely.
