Endless Siege

Endless Siege is a hardcore tower defense game heavily inspired by the classic anuto TD. Unlike other strategy games where you play the same layouts over and over, this one keeps things fresh by generating a completely new map every single day. You are tasked with defending your base from relentless hordes of warring beasts, ogres, and monster. You can place your defenses on almost any empty square on the grid, making positioning and kill zones the absolute key to survival.

How to Play

When you load into the daily map, check where the enemy entrance is. You will want to place your first few turrets right near the spawn point or at sharp corners where they can get the most shots off. Once your money is mostly spent and your grid is set, hit the big red 'Next Wave' button to let the monsters in. If you manage to kill them all, you will rake in gold to patch up your grid, buy more tower, or level up your current placements before doing it all over again.

The Controls

The interface is clean and works entirely with point-and-click actions:

Selecting and Placing: Left click on any turret from the sidebar menu, then click on an open square on the playing field to build it. You can build anywhere except directly on the stone path where the monsters walk.

Upgrading or Selling: Click on an already built tower to open its stat card. From there, you can spend gold to level it up or sell it back if you need to quickly redesign your defense line mid battle.

The Defense Arsenal

You start out with access to four basic defensive structures, but each one can later be branched out into insane, high-tech units once you save up enough gold:

  • Ballista: A rapid fire bolt launcher that handles single targets well. Great for stopping quick scouts early on.
  • Torch: Inflicts burning fire damage that cooks enemies over time as they walk past.
  • Cannon: Drops heavy splash damage bombs that clear out large, tightly packed clusters of monsters.
  • Timewarp: Emits a slowing aura that bogs down fast enemies so your heavy hitting cannons can actually land their shots.

Pro Tips for Surviving Longer

  • You can totally build and upgrade your towers while the battle is active. But if things get way too chaotic, it is highly recommended to pause the game so you do not panick and misclick.
  • Do not spend all your gold on just spamming basic towers. The late game tech upgrades are incredibly expensive but do massive amounts of damage. Save up some cash ahead of time.
  • Look for natural chokepoints on the daily map. Places where the path loops back on itself are the perfect spots to stack fire and slow towers for maximum efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do the maps change?

You get a completely fresh map every 24 hours. This keeps the meta changing and stops the gameplay from getting stale.

Can you upgrade towers during a live wave?

Yeah, you can drop or level up turrets right in the middle of a fight. Just make sure to hit pause if you need a second to plan out your moves without getting rushed.

What are the starting towers in the game?

You start with four basic options: the Ballista, the Torch, the Cannon, and the Timewarp shooter. All of them can be mutated into higher tier weapons later on.
